This is a great game when you need a change of pace. Fun but also challenging.
My son just turned 6 and he absolutely loved this game. It was very easy to start playing and he enjoys being able to pick the motorcycle he wants to ride. In the game he can also add parts (upgrades) to his motorcycle if he does well in the races. Pretty cool.
I'm an 18 year old freshman in college. I'm always at a loss of which ones to buy since I can't buy them all. And some of the tracks I enjoy so much that I've gone back to them.
I was quite impressed. And with more money, you could even buy some new bikes.I'm a newbie with racing games. I have a job, a girlfriend. But I can't stop playing this game. The animations are very clear and awesome.
There are four locations, three tracks for each location, and four different kinds of races. It gets a little choppy in the Hong Kong tracks, but that's just because those tracks are really bright. The storyline is pretty short, it seemed to me. But since it's so inexpensive, it's worth it.
I love them, but I haven't tried many. For twenty dollars, this is a really good deal.As another reviewer said, the controls are quite sensitive when you first get used to it, but keep trying and you'll get the hang of it.Only con I found:Not many people play this game, so I haven't been able to compete against anyone on my DSi.
I'm not a big racing game fan (except for Mario Kart DS), but thought I'd give this one a shot(especially for only $[.].). Even then, it was all too easy to over steer in one direction, and then completely over adjust in the opposite direction. I couldn't believe how sensitive the left/right turning controls were for the bike. I finally figured out that you really had to use the control pad one tap at a time to gradually adjust direction. No way I was going to actually WIN a race to advance through any storyline. Maybe I just wasn't meant to ride a motorcycle.
I think this game really takes full advantage of the Nintendo DS platform. It's a lot of fun and the learning curve is just right in that it takes practice but you do get better with each race. There are three tracks to master within each location and several different race variations so there's enough here to keep you interested. I've played this game nearly every day since I got it and enjoy it thoroughly each time.
